Liverpool – Dallas to Join Boys ECNL Texas Conference for 2017-18 Season

RICHMOND, VA (February 24, 2017) – The Elite Clubs National League is excited to announce that Liverpool FC International Academy – Dallas will be joining the Boys ECNL beginning in the 2017-2018 season as a member of the Texas Conference.

Liverpool FC International Academy – Dallas has 85 boys teams from U6 to U18.  The club has developed players that have moved on to nearly every level, including 2 players currently playing professionally in Portugal, and multiple players that have been selected to the US Club Soccer id2 program.  The club had both its U14 and U15 boys’ teams qualify for the NPL Finals in 2016.

“We are honored and thrilled to enter this new chapter of our club,” said Liverpool International Academy Director Tom Blencoe.  “Being part of the Boys ECNL and the ENPL will provide more opportunities for our players to develop, and a platform for progression which will help them experience more advanced levels of play and a fantastic competitive environment within which they can prosper.”

The Boys ECNL Texas Conference will feature regular season conference competition and regular season cross-conference events. Qualifying teams from the conference, based on regular season performance, will advance to the post-season championship of the ENPL, along with qualifiers from various National Premier Leagues across the country.

The ENPL is the post-season competition created through the collaboration between US Club Soccer and the ECNL.  More information will also be released about the format, structure, and qualifying process of the ENPL in the coming weeks.
