Boys ECNL Announces 2018-19 National Events
RICHMOND, VA (May 22, 2018) –The inaugural Boys Elite Clubs National League season is winding down in the next few weeks, with the final spots in the ENPL Post-season Playoffs being claimed in each conference. After a fantastic first year, the Boys ECNL will feature 70 member clubs in 2018-2019, all competing in conference competition, regular season Boys ECNL National Events, and striving for post-season championships in the ENPL.
The Boys ECNL will feature seven conferences next year, with the addition of the Mid-Atlantic Conference (consisting of clubs from North Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia), and the Mountain Conference (consisting of clubs from Colorado and New Mexico). Boys ECNL teams will meet in cross-conference competition at each Boys ECNL National Event during the regular season, where the atmosphere, excitement and collegiate exposure is fantastic. The 2018-19 regular season Boys ECNL National Events, and the featured age groups, are below:
- BOYS ECNL OKLAHOMA
November 16-18, 2018 | Tulsa, OK | U16-U18/U19
- BOYS ECNL FLORIDA
December 29-31, 2018 | Sanford, FL | U15-U18/U19
- BOYS ECNL SAN DIEGO
April 26-28, 2019 | San Diego, CA | U15-U17
- BOYS ECNL PENNSYLVANIA
May 25-27, 2019 | Downington, PA | U15-U17
The addition of a National Event at the end of the fall season, and the adjustment to have all U18/19 national event competition conclude by the winter, was based on overwhelming feedback from the membership, reflecting the league’s commitment to service the needs of clubs. Top teams from each Boys ECNL conference will qualify for the ENPL Playoffs in the post-season.
The final regular season Boys ECNL National Event of this season will take place over Memorial Day weekend in Philadelphia, PA.
