RICHMOND, VA (May 3, 2018) – The Boys Elite Clubs National League (Boys ECNL) is excited to announce the dates and location of the first annual Boys ECNL National Training Camp. The 2018 National Training Camp will take place from August 2nd – 6th, 2018 in Nassau, Bahamas in collaboration with the Bahamas Football Association (BFA).

“Bringing together top players from across the country in a best vs best atmosphere is a fantastic opportunity for growth and learning,” said Boys ECNL President Christian Lavers.  “Beyond that, it is great to recognize and reward these players for their work and performance by providing a unique international experience.”

The Boys ECNL National Training Camp will consist of approximately 40 of the top male Boys ECNL players in the rising U16-U19 age groups from across the United States. These players will come together for three full days of training and competition at the Bahamas National Football Stadium.

Selections will be based on performance in Boys ECNL conference and National Event competitions this season, the Elite National Premier League (ENPL) Post Season, and recommendations. Aside from travel to and from the camp, there are no costs for participation in the Boys ECNL National Training Camp. Staffing, lodging, meals, and training gear are provided by the Boys ECNL.

“On behalf of the Bahamas Football Association, I would like to welcome the Boys ECNL to the Bahamas this summer. We are ecstatic to partner with the league and bring elite boys players to our shores,” said Frederick Lunn Jr., General Secretary of the Bahamas Football Association

More details on the schedule, participants and other events surrounding the camp will be released in the coming month.
