THE BOYS ECNL PARTNERS WITH INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS CUP FOR THE 2019 FUTURES TOURNAMENT
RICHMOND, VA (March 29, 2019) – The Boys Elite Clubs National League is excited to announce a continued partnership with the International Champions Cup (ICC) with the expansion of the ICC Futures Tournament for the U14 boys age group. The second annual ICC Futures Tournament will be held in August 2019 with a weeklong event to crown the ICC Futures champion.
The ICC Futures Tournament will feature twenty-four U14 boys teams, including international clubs from some of the top youth academies in the world and four ICC Regional All-Star Teams. The ICC Regional All-Star team selection processwill be powered by Boys ECNLcoaches around the country. ICC Regional All-Star teams powered by the Boys ECNL will include top players throughout each of the four regions: West, Midwest, South and East. Any player, regardless of club background or league affiliation, is available for selection.

“The 2018 ICC Futures event was an incredible opportunity for boys across the United States, and the Boys ECNL is thrilled to be supporting the 2019 event with the ICC All-Stars Teams powered by the ECNL,” said ECNL President Christian Lavers. “We support the ICC in bringing selected players together for representative competition using the network of the Boys ECNL, and feel this format will provide the best level of competition, insure that the most deserving players are selected, and provide a unique learning experience. The event will provide an incredible platform to see some of America’s best young players against some of the future stars of world football.”
