ECNL BOYS ANNOUNCES ROSTERS FOR ECNL SOUTH CAROLINA NATIONAL SELECTION GAME
RICHMOND, Va. (November 30, 2021) – The ECNL Boys is excited to announce the rosters for the ECNL South Carolina National Selection Game, powered by Beyond Pulse. The ECNL South Carolina National Selection Game will feature top players from the U17 and U18/19 age groups, representing more than 30 clubs. The contest will take place on December 3, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. on Field 10.
The ECNL National Selection Game is an “all-star” match that brings some of the best players at each regular season ECNL National Event together for representative competition on the first day of the event. It is just one component of the ECNL National Selection Program, which encompasses all player identification and development programs within the league.
“The ECNL Arizona National Selection Game was an iconic moment for the league and we are extremely excited to bring it to ECNL South Carolina,” said ECNL Boys Commissioner Jason Kutney. “The large crowd in Arizona brought so much energy to the match and created an unparalleled atmosphere for the players and coaches, who all delivered under the bright lights. We look forward to seeing our next wave of top talent in South Carolina.”
Those players competing in the National Selection Game will not suit up for their club on game day to ensure proper rest and preparation. Players were selected for the game by ECNL Player Identification staff through a combination of scouting and recommendations based on performances from the past several months.
